Tirom Marselle Toler, Aiding and Abetting Distribution of Crack Cocaine, North Carolina 2013
A grim tale of crack cocaine distribution unfolded in Greenville, North Carolina, as 23-year-old Tirom Marselle Toler was sentenced to 60 months imprisonment followed by 4 years supervised release.
According to United States Attorney Thomas G. Walker, Toler's crime took place on September 21, 2011, when he and another person aided and abetted each other in the distribution of more than 28 grams of crack cocaine to an informant working with the Smithfield Police Department.
Toler pleaded guilty to the drug distribution count on March 3, 2013.
The Johnston County Sheriff's Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) led the investigation into Toler's illicit activities.
Toler, 23, of Smithfield, North Carolina, was charged with aiding and abetting the distribution of 28 grams or more of crack cocaine.
Assistant United States Attorney Rudy E. Renfer represented the government in this case.
