Tony Bronson, Child Exploitation, Montana 2014

Published January 14, 2015

In a major victory in the fight against child exploitation, a Montana court has handed down lengthy prison terms to 11 men convicted of their role in an international child pornography network. Tony Bronson, a 53-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, was one of the defendants who appeared before the court.

Bronson pleaded guilty in April 2014 and was sentenced on October 28, 2014, to 224 months in prison, with an additional 10 years of supervised release and $29,859 in restitution. He was also ordered to forfeit his computers and storage devices.

The international child pornography network was targeted by investigators and prosecutors participating in Operation Kingdom Conqueror, a multi-agency, multi-national effort that aimed to disrupt the online exchange of child pornography.

Operation Kingdom Conqueror was a collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies from the United States and abroad, which resulted in the identification and prosecution of individuals involved in the production and distribution of child pornography.

Other defendants in the case include Charles Crosby, Steve Humiston, John Johnson, Robert Krise, Scott Long, Ian Nosek, Phillip Morris, Joseph Purificato, Paul Wencewicz, and Jeffrey Woolley, all of whom have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms for their roles in the child exploitation ring.

The case serves as a reminder of the gravity of child exploitation and the importance of collaborative law enforcement efforts in combating this heinous crime. The Grimy Times will continue to provide updates on this and other cases involving child exploitation.
