Travis Adam Griffin, Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine, Nebraska 2023

A Lincoln man has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term for his role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy, federal authorities announced today.

Travis Adam Griffin, 35, was sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in federal prison for his involvement in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute at least 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine mixture and at least 20 grams of methamphetamine actual.

The conspiracy, which took place between January 2017 and April 4, 2019, was investigated by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force.

Griffin was arrested on April 4, 2019, on an outstanding warrant at the Lancaster County Jail. During a search of his person, he was found in possession of a baggie containing at least 24 grams of methamphetamine actual.

Following his prison term, Griffin will serve 5 years on supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

The case against Griffin was prosecuted by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Nebraska.
