A convicted felon from Dubuque, Iowa, has been sentenced to 84 months in federal prison for possessing a firearm while on supervised release.

Tremaine Laron Moore, Jr., age 25, was sentenced on November 17, 2025, to five years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and a consecutive two-year sentence for violating the terms of his supervised release.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Patrick J. Reinert and investigated by the United States Probation Office for the Northern District of Iowa, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and the Dubuque Police Department.
