Troy Gillon, Jr., Oxymorphone and Marijuana Charges, New York 2016

BUFFALO, N.Y.-A Lockport man was sentenced to 18 months in prison after being convicted of distributing oxymorphone, marijuana, and other controlled substances.

Troy Gillon, Jr., 25, was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute oxymorphone, distribution of oxymorphone, possession with intent to distribute THC and marijuana, and maintaining a drug-involved premises.

The sentencing comes after a federal search warrant was executed at Gillon's residence on Dysinger Road in Lockport on December 16, 2016. Agents recovered 95 vials and five mason jars containing marijuana, eight oxycodone tablets, 113 marijuana tablets, and various marijuana-infused treats.

In addition to the drugs, agents also seized two packages of clear plastic baggies for drug distribution, a drug ledger containing drug distribution transactions, three digital scales, six cellular telephones, a Micro SD sim card, a 14-karat gold diamond bracelet, and $2,243.65 in cash.

The money and bracelet were acquired as proceeds from Gillon's illicit drug sales. The drugs seized from the house were intended for distribution in the community, and Gillon maintained his home as a drug premises.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge James J. Hunt, New York Field Division; Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Kevin Kelly, and the Lockport Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael Niethe.

Gillon's sentence is a result of his conviction on the following charges: possession with intent to distribute oxymorphone, distribution of oxymorphone, possession with intent to distribute THC and marijuana, and maintaining a drug-involved premises.
