Child Pornography Ring Exposed in Somerset County

A disturbing case of child pornography has come to light in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Tyler Fuller, a 31-year-old resident, has been indicted on serious charges of production, receipt, and possession of child pornography.

According to the indictment, Fuller engaged in these illicit activities from August 2023 to January 2024. The investigation, led by Homeland Security Investigations, the State College Police Department, Ferguson Township Police Department, and the Centre County District Attorney's Office, uncovered a web of child exploitation.

The maximum penalty under federal law for these offenses is 30 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.

Fuller's case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. This collaborative effort brings together federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims.

The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania is prosecuting the case, with Assistant United States Attorney Alisan V. Martin at the helm. This case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of protecting our children from exploitation and abuse.
