A 59-year-old Pittsburgh-area doctor has been sentenced to five years' probation for his role in a scheme to evade taxes, according to a federal court order.

United States District Judge Joy Flowers Conti handed down the sentence on [Yesterday] on William J. Houser, Jr., a licensed medical doctor and practitioner in Youngstown, Ohio. The court ordered that the first 24 weekends, and one week each year, of the five-year term of probation be served in a community confinement center.
