William Noe Cuellar Montufa, Illegally Reentering the United States, Ohio 2024

A Guatemalan man with a history of sex crimes involving minors has pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the United States.

Cincinnati Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) agents learned of a warrant from Guatemala for the arrest of William Noe Cuellar Montufa, 39, for homicide.

Cuellar Montufa was illegally residing in Cincinnati and was arrested in Colerain Township, Ohio, on October 29.

He had previously been convicted in Warren County in January 2006 for attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and in September 2007 for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Cuellar Montufa was deported in 2008 following his terms of incarceration.

U.S. Attorney Dominick S. Gerace II said, 'This defendant illegally reentered the country after being deported following his convictions for sex crimes and is now wanted for murder in Guatemala.'

The case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration.

Cuellar Montufa pleaded guilty on January 21 before U.S. District Judge Douglas R. Cole.
