Yevgeniy Dudko, Child Exploitation, Missouri 2023

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A disturbing case of child exploitation has come to light in Springfield, Missouri, as a federal grand jury indicted a local man for the sexual exploitation of two minor victims. Yevgeniy Dudko, a 51-year-old resident of Springfield, was charged in a three-count indictment for his alleged involvement in the exploitation of two child victims, identified as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2.

The indictment, which replaced a federal criminal complaint filed on March 16, 2023, charges Dudko with two counts of using minors to produce child pornography from November 20, 2021, to March 14, 2023. He is also accused of receiving and distributing child pornography. According to an affidavit filed in support of the original complaint, investigators found approximately 1,000 images of Jane Doe 1 on Dudko's cell phone, some of which appeared to have been created by a hidden camera.

The charges contained in this indictment are simply accusations, and not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting the charges must be presented to a federal trial jury, whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ami Harshad Miller. It was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force, and the Greene County, Mo., Sheriff's Department.
