Zachary H. French Sentenced to 108 Months in Prison

Zachary H. French, 24, of Claremont, IL, was sentenced to 108 months in prison, 4 years supervised release, and was fined $200 on June 24, 2013, for his role in a methamphetamine conspiracy.

French previously pleaded guilty to two counts in a federal indictment. Count 1 charged that from on or about July 2009, until on or about September 2012, in Richland County, French and others conspired to manufacture more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. Count 3 charged that July 6, 2009, to on or about July 8, 2012, in Richland County, French possessed pseudoephedrine, knowing and having reasonable cause to believe that the pseudoephedrine would be used to manufacture methamphetamine.

The investigation on this case was conducted by the Richland County Sheriff's Office. Assistant United States Attorney George Norwood handled the case.

French, whose full name is Zachary H. French, was sentenced for his involvement in a methamphetamine conspiracy in Richland County, IL.
