Fort Wayne Man Caught with Child Porn

A 58-year-old Fort Wayne man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possessing child porn, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Northern District of Indiana.

Walter Gross, Jr., was found to be in possession of images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct on April 6, 2017, officials said. Gross, Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of Possession of Material Depicting Minors Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct.

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Theresa L. Springmann handed down the sentence, which includes 120 months imprisonment followed by 5 years of supervised release. The investigation was conducted by the FBI, the Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Indiana State Police.
