In a despicable display of violence, 32-year-old Claude Harris met his untimely demise in a dispute over a paltry 60-cent bet at a crap game in northwest Miami on Monday night. Harris, a resident of NW 68th Street, lost the argument to his opponent, Francis Durant, 40, of NW 18th Avenue. The argument escalated into a deadly confrontation, with Durant pulling the trigger and shooting Harris in the mouth, ultimately ending his life.
