Andrews Admits to Filming Child Pornography

ST. GEORGE, UT – Brenton Andrews, 27, of St. George, Utah, has confessed to a sickening crime: the production of child pornography. Andrews entered a guilty plea Tuesday in U.S. District Court, admitting he coerced a minor into participating in sexually explicit acts which he then recorded. The details, uncovered by the St. George Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations, paint a disturbing picture of exploitation.

The plea agreement reached between prosecutors and Andrews isn’t a negotiation; it’s a stark acknowledgement of the severity of his actions. He’s agreed to a 25-year federal prison sentence. But the punishment doesn’t end there. Upon release, Andrews will face a minimum of 20 years of supervised release, a constant reminder of the damage he’s inflicted.

The investigation, which began late last year, revealed that Andrews not only filmed the child but also created lewd images. According to court documents, the recordings depicted the victim nude and engaged in explicit acts.
