Two Conneaut, Ohio residents are facing serious federal charges after police uncovered a brazen firearms heist from a Lake County store. According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, Jory Rhodes, 26, and Brandon Haley, 28, were indicted on two counts: theft of firearms from a Federal Firearms Licensee and possession of a stolen firearm.

The alleged crime took place on October 25, 2012, when authorities say Rhodes and Haley broke into Great Lakes Outdoor Supply in Madison Township. The men are accused of strategically planning their move, with Rhodes slipping a $1,129 Remington Arms .45 caliber pistol from a display case while Haley distracted employees.
