In a shocking turn of events, Bryce Smith, a 32-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was brought to justice for his involvement in a string of violent crimes that terrorized the city in 2019. The case, which was filed on September 6, 2019, in the Maryland District Federal Court, saw Smith facing multiple charges, including armed robbery, assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to court documents, Smith’s crimes began in the summer of 2019, when he and an accomplice allegedly carried out a series of armed robberies in the city’s downtown area. The victims, who were mostly small business owners, reported being threatened and intimidated by the duo, who made off with thousands of dollars in cash and valuables.
As the investigation continued, authorities discovered that Smith had a prior conviction for felony assault, which made him ineligible to possess a firearm. The discovery led to an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
