DAYTON, OH – Ke-Shawn Rivers, 46, is locked up after a raid turned up a shocking haul of drugs and cash, federal prosecutors revealed yesterday. Cops busted Rivers and then cracked open a safe at his Dayton home, finding roughly 11 kilograms – over 24 pounds – of suspected fentanyl and cocaine.

The feds allege Rivers, known on the streets as “JayZ,” was slinging fentanyl from September 2025 through January 2026. The March 11th search wasn’t just about the powder; authorities also seized a firearm. But the real prize was inside the safe: along with the massive drug load, they found a cool $260,000 in cold, hard cash and another gun.

“Illicit fentanyl destroys lives and directly threatens our national security,” barked U.S. Attorney Dominick S. Gerace II. Law enforcement officials are touting the bust as a major win, with the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost claiming the seized drugs could have caused “unimaginable harm.” HSI Detroit and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office helped bring Rivers down.

Rivers appeared in federal court yesterday and was ordered held without bail pending trial. He’s facing serious time if convicted.
