Orlando, FL – In a shocking turn of events, Reginald Dugger Jr., a 42-year-old Orlando man with a long history of run-ins with the law, has pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to court documents, Dugger’s guilty plea was entered on Thursday in federal court. As a result, he now faces a maximum penalty of 15 years behind bars.
The investigation into Dugger’s activities began on February 29, 2024, when agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) executed a federal search warrant at Dugger’s residence. During the search, they discovered a currency counter, drugs, and two loaded firearms in plain view and accessible to Dugger.
At the time of the offense, Dugger had previously been convicted of several felony offenses, making him prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition under federal law.
