Aaron Jackson, 30, of Washington, D.C., has been found guilty of first-degree murder while armed in the brutal stabbing death of Damohn Gill.
A jury delivered the verdict in Superior Court yesterday, bringing closure to the victim’s loved ones and a sense of justice to the community.
The crime took place on June 24, 2021, when Jackson, 30, attacked Gill, 27, with a knife in the parking lot of the Orchard Park Apartments. Gill’s pregnant girlfriend witnessed the horrific scene.
According to prosecutors, Jackson pulled out a knife and aggressively approached Gill, grabbing him by the throat and stabbing him nine times in the back, face, arm, and abdomen.
