Cody Michael DeGraw, a 30-year-old resident of Coweta, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to one count of Possession of Certain Material Involving the Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. This charge carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000.00 fine.
The guilty plea was announced by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. According to the Indictment, DeGraw knowingly possessed visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct between December 20, 2023, and February 27, 2025. The investigation that led to the charge was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
The Honorable Jason A. Robertson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted DeGraw’s plea. A presentence investigation report has been ordered, and a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the sentence to be imposed after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
DeGraw has been remanded into the custody of the United States Marshals pending sentencing. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Morgan Muzljakovich and Sarah McAmis, who represented the United States in this matter.
