Akron’s streets are hit with a major DEA strike as three alleged kingpins are indicted in a massive drug ring. They’re accused of bringing meth, fentanyl, and cocaine to Northeast Ohio, their operations ranging from high-speed traffic stops to storage facility stashes. The DEA has their hands full with this one:
- Erin House, 53, owner of House Brothers Trucking, is tied to a truck stuffed with cocaine and cash.
- Ishmael Wahid, 52, the operation’s go-between, was caught after being loaded up with more drugs and cash at another traffic stop.
- Roy Wimberly, 50, supplied the goods while armed to the teeth, his Akron home a meth and fentanyl cache.
The trio face serious charges: conspiracy, distribution, possession with intent to distribute, and weapons violations. One was even a repeat offender with a cocaine trafficking conviction in ’96. Time for these drug lords to face justice!
