GRIMY TIMES EXCLUSIVE: Connor Mueller, a 31-year-old resident of Keene, New Hampshire, has been caught in the grim web of child exploitation. Mueller entered a guilty plea for possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), a charge that carries a severe federal penalty.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced today that Mueller is scheduled to be sentenced on December 16, 2025, by U.S. District Judge Steven McAuliffe. This disturbing case began in 2023 when an undercover law enforcement operation pinpointed Mueller using peer-to-peer software to receive and distribute CSAM.
The New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Keene Police Department played pivotal roles in this investigation, which uncovered numerous images and videos depicting child sexual abuse on Mueller’s seized devices. The severity of the offense is underscored by the potential sentence of up to 20 years as per the charging statute.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew Vicinanzo is handling the prosecution of this case, which is a part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative established in 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat child exploitation and abuse. Project Safe Childhood leverages federal, state, and local resources to identify, apprehend, and prosecute those who exploit children.
Homeland Security Investigations led the investigation into Mueller’s activities, ensuring that justice will be served for the victims involved. For more information on Project Safe Childhood and its efforts to protect our youth, visit www.projectsafechildhood.gov/.
