Neenah Predator: Haskell Indicted in Child Porn Case

NEENAH, WI – Jeffrey J. Haskell, 26, of Neenah, Wisconsin, is facing federal charges after being indicted by a grand jury for the production of child pornography. Acting United States Attorney Richard G. Frohling of the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced the indictment on September 9, 2025, detailing horrific allegations of exploiting vulnerable children.

The indictment alleges that Haskell “knowingly employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced” minor children into participating in the creation of sexually explicit material on or around January 11, 2025, and again on January 24, 2025. The specific charges stem from violations of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2251(a) and 2251(e) – statutes designed to punish the most egregious forms of child sexual abuse.

If convicted on either count, Haskell faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years behind bars, with the potential for up to 30 years imprisonment. Beyond incarceration, he could be slapped with fines reaching $250,000 per count. Furthermore, a conviction will necessitate his registration as a sexual offender, both under state and federal guidelines – a permanent mark branding him as a danger to the community.

The investigation into Haskell’s alleged crimes was spearheaded by the Neenah Police Department, demonstrating a commitment to protecting the most vulnerable among us. Assistant United States Attorney Daniel R. Humble will be prosecuting the case, tasked with bringing justice for the victims and ensuring Haskell is held accountable for his actions. This isn’t just about prosecuting a crime; it’s about dismantling a network of exploitation.

It is crucial to remember that an indictment represents accusations, not proof of guilt. Haskell is presumed innocent and has the right to a fair trial, where the government bears the burden of proving his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. However, the allegations are deeply disturbing and demand a thorough and just legal process.

This case is being pursued under the umbrella of Project Safe Childhood, a national initiative launched in 2006 by the U.S. Department of Justice. The project aims to combat the escalating epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse by coordinating federal, state, and local resources to identify, apprehend, and prosecute offenders and rescue victims.
