Riccole Dixson Pleads Guilty

Riccole Ladale Dixson, a 38-year-old former resident of Dewar, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to one count of Felon in Possession of Ammunition. The guilty plea was announced by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The charge against Dixson stems from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and U.S. Probation Officers, which revealed that he knowingly possessed 30 rounds of ammunition on August 22, 2025. This possession was illegal due to Dixson’s prior conviction of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.

The Indictment against Dixson charged him with this single count, and he entered his guilty plea before The Honorable D. Edward Snow, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. As part of the plea agreement, a presentence investigation report will be completed to aid in determining the sentence to be imposed.

A U.S. District Court Judge will ultimately decide Dixson’s sentence, taking into consideration the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. Until his sentencing, Dixson will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service.

The case against Dixson was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jacob R. Parker, who represented the United States in this matter. The guilty plea is a result of the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Attorney’s Office to combat gun crime in Oklahoma.

The outcome of this case serves as a reminder of the consequences of illegally possessing firearms or ammunition, particularly for individuals with prior felony convictions. As the justice system continues to crack down on gun crime, offenders like Riccole Dixson will face the full weight of the law.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma remains committed to prosecuting crimes related to firearms and ammunition, ensuring public safety and upholding the rule of law. With the help of law enforcement agencies and the judiciary, the office will continue to hold accountable those who break the law and put the community at risk.
