CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Robert J. Thomas, 30, of St. Albans, has officially copped to being a felon with a gun. Court records show that on January 27, 2024, this dude had a Glock Model 27 .40-caliber pistol in Kanawha County’s Jefferson area. He knew the drill — no guns for him after his 2019 conviction for dealing drugs. Thomas is looking at a life sentence and $250K fine if he don’t play ball on July 13, 2026. The ATF, Kanawha Co. Sheriff’s Office, and South Charleston PD got their paws dirty in this one.
