A violent crime spree across the Navajo Nation has finally come to an end with the guilty plea of Torreon man Cisco Whitehorse (age not available).
Whitehorse pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing firearms after reportedly using one of them in a shooting and being involved in a series of shooting incidents on the Navajo Nation between July 2024 and September 2025.
According to the Department of Justice’s U.S. Attorney’s Office for the State of Arizona, the guilty plea follows an investigation into Whitehorse’s activities.
Whitehorse’s crimes put multiple lives at risk and caused widespread fear across the Navajo Nation.
The investigation found that Whitehorse used at least one of the firearms in a shooting and was involved in multiple shooting incidents between July 2024 and September 2025.
A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Cisco Whitehorse in federal court. Specific details of the charges and potential sentences were not immediately available.
