A notorious Dallas Crips gang member has been brought to justice for wreaking havoc in the city’s Malcolm X Boulevard neighborhood. Jamarian Hewitt, aka ‘Zillionaire JJ’, was convicted of multiple drug trafficking and firearms crimes, including trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine.
The 40-year-old gang member was charged as part of ‘Operation Blue Laces’, a large-scale investigation that dismantled a significant portion of the Four Deuce Oakland Crips gang’s trafficking network.
Court records reveal that Hewitt was one of several gang members charged with numerous drug and firearm offenses, as well as carjacking. The investigation, led by the ATF, uncovered a web of violence and corruption that had been terrorizing the Malcolm X Boulevard neighborhood.
With this conviction, Hewitt faces a potential lifetime sentence, bringing a sense of relief to the community. The verdict sends a clear message: those who choose to flood our neighborhoods with drugs and arm violent criminal enterprises will be held accountable.
