Devon Cohen Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison for Possessing a Firearm
Tampa, Florida – In a shocking turn of events, U.S. District Judge Thomas Barber has sentenced 33-year-old Devon Cohen to five years in federal prison for possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon.
According to court documents, officers stopped a car that Cohen was driving after he had committed multiple traffic violations. Upon searching the vehicle, they found a loaded pistol on the center console. Cohen admitted to the officers that he possessed the gun. As a result, he is not permitted to possess a gun or ammunition under federal law due to his previous conviction of multiple felonies, including several narcotics offenses.
