Crime Against Children Haunts Local Families: U.S. Attorney Warns of Danger

Las Vegas, Nevada - In a disturbing trend, child abuse and exploitation continue to plague local communities. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Nevada has sounded the alarm during National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

According to a statement from U.S. Attorney Jason M. Frierson, the office remains committed to protecting young people who are abused or exploited. Through the Project Safe Childhood initiative, they work with law enforcement partners to investigate crimes against children, provide services to victims, and bring perpetrators to justice.
