Grimy Times has learned that Kevin M. Epstein, a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Trustee Program, has been appointed as the U.S. Trustee for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas (Region 7) effective January 1, 2021.

The U.S. Trustee Program, which is responsible for protecting the integrity of the bankruptcy system, has 21 regions and 90 field office locations. Region 7 has offices in Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, and San Antonio, Texas.

Epstein's appointment has been welcomed by EOUST Director Cliff White, who praised his depth of legal experience and practical approach to management. White also extended his best wishes and deepest appreciation to Hobbs for his many significant contributions to the U.S. Trustee Program.
