CSAM Ring Leaders Face Decades

Two men are headed for a long stretch behind bars after federal prosecutors peeled back the layers of a depraved online operation. Sean Edward Young, 47, of Rockville, Maryland, got 40 years in prison yesterday, followed by 20 years of supervised release. His co-conspirator, Jacob Parker, 49, of Auburn, Alabama, already received over 24 years in January. Both ran a website used to distribute and discuss horrific child sexual abuse material.

Court documents paint Young as a high-ranking member of the site, actively advertising and distributing CSAM. He wasn’t just a sharer, though; investigators say he gave advice to other users on avoiding detection by law enforcement. Disturbingly, he also reportedly bragged about past abuse. Parker played a similar role, serving as a moderator and diligently keeping the sick site running and distributing CSAM among its users.

The case highlights the FBI’s relentless pursuit of online predators. “Sean Young and Jacob Parker were part of an online community of offenders who came together to share, discuss, and celebrate depictions of child sexual abuse,” said Assistant Attorney General A. Tysen Duva. “Both made every effort to use technology to hide from law enforcement, but they could not.”

Acting U.S. Attorney Kevin Davidson for the Middle District of Alabama emphasized the devastating impact of these crimes. “The exploitation of children through the distribution of child sexual abuse material is a disturbing crime that causes lasting harm to its victims,” Davidson stated. “Those who participate in online networks that advertise and distribute this material will be identified, prosecuted, and held accountable.” Both men pleaded guilty last year; Young on September 24, 2025, and Parker earlier.
