A 32-year-old Tulsa man, Quincy Jay Adams, is in deep trouble after allegedly pistol-whipping and strangling a woman on Muscogee (Creek) Nation land. The attack, details of which haven’t been fully released, led to federal charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, using a firearm in a violent crime, and domestic abuse by strangulation. Federal agents moved in quickly, taking over the investigation alongside Tulsa PD.
In a separate case, 38-year-old Vismar Erick Atahuichi Alanoca, a Bolivian national living in Tulsa, stands accused of trafficking in child pornography. Investigators allege Alanoca was actively trading and possessing images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children. Homeland Security Investigations and Tulsa Police are handling the investigation into the dark web activity.
The feds are also targeting Venkateswara Chagamreddy, 27, an Indian national also residing in Tulsa. A superseding indictment alleges Chagamreddy ran a wire fraud scheme, posing as a federal officer to rip off victims. He’s also accused of obstructing commerce through extortion – essentially shaking people down while wearing a fake badge.
All three men now face federal prosecution in Tulsa. Specific court dates and potential penalties haven’t been released, but given the charges, all three are looking at significant time. The investigations are ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge as the cases progress.
