Texas Runner Admits to Cross-Country Coke Run

⏱ 3 min read

Shannell Gosine, 28, of Houston, just threw in the towel in Buffalo federal court, admitting she was a key cog in a coast-to-coast cocaine pipeline. From April 2023 to February 2025, she ran drugs north and dirty money south, connecting Mexican supply with streets up and down the East Coast. The feds say Gosine faces a minimum of 10 years – but potentially life – behind bars.

The operation wasn’t exactly low profile. Back in April 2023, Ohio cops intercepted nearly 19 kilos of cocaine destined for Buffalo, connected to the same crew. Then, in December 2023, a Tennessee drug task force ripped $100,000 in cash from Gosine and an accomplice – money traced directly back to Buffalo. A May 2024 bust in Ontario County, NY, netted another 9.3 kilos of coke and 3.5 kilos of meth.

Prosecutors say Gosine and her crew were hauling around 10 kilos of cocaine per trip to Buffalo, pushing product onward to other cities. She was arrested in April 2025 alongside six others: Winnie Taru Woods, Sharron McCullough, Marlon Holt Jr., Gary Sudesh Gosine Sr., Ian Dyer, and Norman Patillo. Gosine is the second member of the ring to plead guilty.

The bust is part of a larger Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) crackdown, signaling a federal push to dismantle these sprawling, multi-state drug networks. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Michael Adler, Donna Duncan, and Jeffrey Intravatola are prosecuting the case. Gosine is awaiting sentencing from U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.
