Johnstown and South Fork just got a little less poisoned. Federal agents took down two men accused of flooding Cambria County with meth and fentanyl. Dustin Blough, 30, is the alleged kingpin, while Charles Triplin, 48, played a supporting role, according to indictments unsealed this week.
Blough is accused of moving at least half a kilo of meth between September and October 2024, adding another 50 grams of meth plus fentanyl in November. As if that wasn’t enough, authorities say he was also slinging heroin back in August – all while illegally packing a firearm as a convicted felon. He’s facing the heat for everything.
Triplin isn’t exactly a stranger to the system. He already pleaded guilty in 2023 for trying to push fentanyl. Apparently, that didn’t deter him. Federal charges claim he possessed at least 50 grams of meth with intent to distribute in December 2025. It’s a repeat offense and these guys are facing serious time.
Both Blough and Triplin are currently locked up, denied bail while they await trial. They’re each looking at up to life behind bars and a potential $10 million fine. The US Attorney’s office isn’t playing games with this one. It’s a full-blown federal crackdown on the Cambria County supply.
