Covington, KY – Bryant Adams, a 43-year-old from Cincinnati, will spend the next ten years in federal prison after a judge sentenced him to 120 months for running meth. Chief U.S. District Judge David Bunning delivered the sentence Thursday.

The bust went down after cops used a CI – a cooperating witness – to buy nearly 56 grams of ice from Adams on August 28th. Adams thought he had another deal lined up September 3rd and walked right into an arrest. Cops found another 80 grams on him.

Adams wasn’t a small-timer, either. He confessed to moving roughly a pound of meth every week for six months straight, flooding the streets of Northern Kentucky. He’ll have to serve at least 85% of his sentence, and face another five years of supervised release when he finally gets out.

The DEA and the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force led the investigation. First Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul McCaffrey and DEA Special Agent in Charge Jim Scott announced the sentencing.
