Kostas Fekkas, 40, is heading to federal prison for 13 years after admitting to a sickening campaign of online exploitation. The ex-high school teacher, also known as “Constantine Fekkas” and “C.J. Justice,” used Snapchat and text messages to manipulate two girls – ages 12 and 16 – into sending him explicit material between October 2022 and March 2023. The case unfolded in the Southern District of New York, culminating in a September 5, 2025, sentencing by Judge Cathy Seibel.
Investigators cracked the case in March 2023 with the seizure of Fekkas’s phone. What they found was damning: a video of the 12-year-old victim engaged in a sex act, along with screenshots ripped directly from it. Evidence showed Fekkas systematically pressured the girl, demanding the images and videos through the social media app.
The grooming extended to the 16-year-old victim, with whom Fekkas engaged in explicit text exchanges for over a year. From October 2022 through September 2023, he relentlessly pressured her to send photos and videos, turning a teenage girl into a source for his illicit desires.
U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton called Fekkas’s actions a “profound betrayal” of the trust placed in educators. Homeland Security Investigations is urging anyone with information about child sexual abuse to come forward, with a tip line at 1-866-DHS-2423 and an online form available.
