San Antonio Advisor Ran $3M Scam

⏱ 2 min read

San Antonio financial advisor Brooklynn Chandler Willy, 46, admitted in federal court Thursday to running a brazen Ponzi scheme that bilked investors out of at least $3 million. For years, Willy operated Queen B Advisors LLC, also known as Texas Financial Advisory (TFA), and Chandler Capital Holdings, promising wealth management while quietly lining her own pockets.

The grift started as early as 2018. Willy hooked a married couple, pushing them into a deal with Ferrum Capital – run by alleged co-conspirators Joshua Allen and Michael Cox. In 2021, she squeezed another $500,000 out of the same couple, then used the money to pay off personal debts, reward earlier investors (a classic Ponzi tactic), and fund other ventures.

But Willy wasn’t stopping there. She talked another couple into handing over a staggering $2 million to an associate, claiming it would be used to buy up bad debt. Instead, the cash went straight into Willy’s accounts and to her associate. She even snagged $75,000 from one victim and $600,000 from another, diverting the funds to her personal accounts.

As the feds closed in, Willy panicked and tried to forge investor signatures on documents, a desperate attempt to cover her tracks. It didn’t work. She now faces the consequences of a long-running betrayal of trust and a mountain of stolen cash. Sentencing is pending.
