A former high school teacher is headed to federal prison for 13 years after admitting he preyed on two underage girls, pressuring them into sending him explicit photos and videos. Kostas Fekkas, also known as “Constantine Fekkas” and “C.J. Justice,” received the sentence from U.S. District Judge Cathy Seibel in the Southern District of New York.

The feds say Fekkas started targeting one of the victims, a 12-year-old, back in 2022, using Snapchat to convince her to send him sexually explicit content. A search of Fekkas’s phone in March 2023 turned up a video of the girl engaging in a sex act, along with screenshots he’d taken. The abuse didn’t stop there. From October 2022 through September 2023, he continued the pattern with a 16-year-old, coercing her through text messages to send him similar material.

“Teachers are supposed to protect kids, not exploit them,” said U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton. “Fekkas’s betrayal caused profound harm to these victims, and this sentence reflects the seriousness of his crimes.”

Homeland Security Investigations is urging anyone with information about child sexual exploitation to contact them at 1-866-DHS-2423 or submit an online tip.
