New York – The grim tale of the Queens ghost gun kingpin, Satveer Saini, came to a close today as Attorney General Letitia James announced his conviction and sentencing. Saini, along with four associates, faced justice for their role in selling illegal firearms and ghost guns throughout New York City.
Attorney General James’ Office of the Organized Crime Task Force (OCTF) led an investigation that recovered 86 firearms – including 55 ghost guns and 25 assault weapons – and over 90 high-capacity magazines. The operation dismantled Saini’s trafficking ring, which transported and sold firearms from Nassau County and Indiana to Queens.
The investigation began in 2023, culminating in a 625-count indictment against the five defendants. Satveer Saini, Mateo Castro-Agudelo, Hargeny Fernandez-Gonzalez, Adam Youssef Senhaji-Rivas, and Milanjit Sidhu were charged for their involvement in the sale of illegal firearms, high-capacity magazines, and ammunition.
Saini, the alleged kingpin, was particularly active. He sold firearms at various locations, including a Queens playground and a mall parking lot. Castro-Agudelo and Fernandez-Gonzalez stored weapons in an Elmhurst garage, while Senhaji-Rivas also sold trafficked firearms during the investigation.
Castro-Agudelo pleaded guilty on November 2, 2025, to Criminal Sale of a Firearm in the First Degree and Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree. He was sentenced to nine and a half years in state prison with five years of post-release supervision. Fernandez-Gonzalez also pleaded guilty on November 2, facing similar charges.
Attorney General James vowed to continue fighting illegal gun trafficking, stating, ‘My office will continue to use all the resources at our disposal to take illegal guns off our streets and protect New Yorkers from gun violence.’
