AG James Vows to Uphold Justice After Arraignment

New York Attorney General Letitia James made a powerful statement following her arraignment in Norfolk, Virginia. ‘I want to thank all of you for your prayers, emails, and support,’ she began, her voice filled with gratitude.

‘It has strengthened my spirit. And it has anchored my soul. But this is not about me. This is about a justice system which has been weaponized. A justice system used as a tool of revenge against those who stood up for the rule of law.’

James expressed her unwavering faith in the justice system and America, citing support from jurisdictions across the nation. ‘There’s no fear today,’ she declared, emphasizing her belief that justice will prevail.

‘I have stood up for the rights of New Yorkers and Americans throughout my career. I will not be deterred. I will not be distracted. I am headed back to New York because there is work to be done standing up for the rule of law.’

Concluding with a sense of purpose, James said, ‘God bless you and thank you all. I appreciate you.’ Her determination to uphold justice in the face of adversity left no doubt about her resolve.
