A brazen bank robbery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has landed 21-year-old Bria Daudinot behind bars for over eight years. Daudinot, who drove the getaway vehicle for the June 26, 2014 heist, pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery on October 6, 2014.
According to court documents, Daudinot aided and abetted Javon Dockery in the robbery of a Cedar Rapids branch of the US Bank. As part of her plea agreement, Daudinot admitted to driving the getaway vehicle, playing a crucial role in the crime.
On the day of sentencing, United States District Court Chief Judge Linda R. Reade handed down a sentence of 97 months’ imprisonment to Daudinot. In addition to her prison term, Daudinot must pay a special assessment of $100 and serve a three-year term of supervised release.
