Tiffanee Garnier Indicted for Misprision of Murder

GRIMY NEWS EXCLUSIVE: A federal grand jury has indicted 30-year-old Tiffanee Garnier, also known as Tiffanee Alford and Love, for Misprision of a Felony in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The charges stem from her alleged knowledge and assistance in the murder of Vincent Brewer III on October 16, 2016.

Garnier appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Daneta Wollman on December 9, 2016, where she entered a not guilty plea to the Indictment. If convicted, Garnier faces up to three years in custody and a fine of $250,000, along with supervised release and restitution orders.

The investigation into this harrowing crime is a joint effort by several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, Northern Plains Safe Trails Drug Enforcement Task Force, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety, and local law enforcement. Agencies from Colorado also contributed to the investigation, with assistance from the Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kathryn N. Rich and Sarah B. Collins are handling the prosecution of Garnier’s case. She is currently in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service, and a trial date has been set for February 14, 2017.

This grave charge against Garnier reinforces the gravity of her alleged actions and the community’s expectation for justice to be served.
