Thirty-five members and associates of the Nine Trey Gangsters, a violent set of the United Blood Nation (UBN), have pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy and related charges in federal court in North Carolina. The sweeping takedown targets the gang’s leadership structure, including Omari Rosero, aka Uno B, 41, of Elmira, New York, who admitted to serving as an acting “Godfather” of the entire UBN organization while incarcerated.
The charges include drug trafficking, wire fraud, firearm possession, and the use of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence and drug trafficking. The plea agreements expose a deeply entrenched criminal hierarchy operating across the eastern United States—from prison cells to street corners—directing drug distribution, extorting dues, and ordering retaliatory violence against suspected cooperators.
According to court documents, the Nine Trey leadership ranks progress from “Scrap,” “1-Star General” through “5-Star General,” “Low,” “High,” and ultimately “Godfather.” Omari Rosero admitted during his plea to holding the rank of “High” and stepping into the role of acting “Godfather.” In a recorded jail call, he claimed, alongside Pedro Gutierrez, aka Magoo, and James Baxton, aka Frank White, to be “the last ones that God put in power” over the UBN.
Porsha Talina Rosero, aka Lady Uno B, 35, of Syracuse, New York, also pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy. Bearing a chest tattoo reading “Mrs. Uno B,” she operated a Facebook account used by Omari Rosero to send private messages to other Bloods leaders. She admitted to distributing gang dues and participating in a call where Omari threatened a suspected cooperator would be “faded straight up.”
Acting Assistant Attorney General John P. Cronan of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division called the pleas a major blow to the gang’s operations. “By targeting the high-ranking individuals who were directing the gang’s activities—from locations up and down the eastern United States, both within prisons and in our communities—today’s pleas constitute a substantial step towards the gang’s eradication,” Cronan said.
U.S. Attorney R. Andrew Murray for the Western District of North Carolina emphasized the human cost behind the charges. “Communities across Western North Carolina know firsthand the trail of violence and devastation gangs leave behind,” Murray said. “We have a duty to protect the public from gang violence and to bring relief to neighborhoods afflicted by gang activity.” The investigation was led by the FBI Charlotte Field Division, in coordination with federal, state, and local agencies.
