Child Porn Kingpin Jace Chandler Hickman Sentenced to 20 Years

A 42-year-old Missouri sex offender, Jace Chandler Hickman, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for possessing child pornography, a crime that’s got law enforcement scratching their heads.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey handed down the sentence, which is a direct result of Hickman’s continued involvement in the dark world of child exploitation.

Hickman, a registered sex offender since October 2019, began his latest crusade when he started using Facebook Messenger to communicate with a 13-year-old girl. He posed as a 19-year-old, later claiming to be 16, and engaged in explicit communications with the victim, trying to convince her to send him an explicit photo.

But that’s not all – Hickman had a prior conviction for possession of child pornography, which he pleaded guilty to in 2018. His current crime carried a mandatory minimum prison term of 10 years and a maximum of 20 years, thanks to his prior conviction.

The investigation, led by the FBI, St. Clair Police Department, and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, uncovered a web of deceit and corruption that’s left many wondering how someone with a history of child exploitation could continue to evade justice.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle Bateman prosecuted the case, which was brought as part of the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood initiative. This nationwide program aims to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

As part of his sentence, Hickman will serve 20 years in prison, a fitting punishment for a man who’s shown no regard for the law or the well-being of his victims. His case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of child exploitation and the importance of continued vigilance in the pursuit of justice.
