Angel Vidal Reyes Guzman, a 33-year-old El Salvadoran national, was caught in York County, PA, on March 4, 2026, for illegally reentering the United States after being previously removed in 2013. Reyes Guzman was found residing in Dover, PA, without permission to reenter the country. The indictment alleges that he reentered the US without obtaining the necessary permission, a federal crime. Reyes Guzman was removed from the US through Alexandria, Louisiana, on January 14, 2013.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations investigated the case, which is part of the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) initiative. The HSTF is a whole-of-government partnership dedicated to eliminating criminal cartels, foreign gangs, transnational criminal organizations, and human smuggling and trafficking rings operating in the US and abroad.
Reyes Guzman was indicted on March 18, 2026, by a federal grand jury on the charge of illegal reentry. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kelley K. McGraw is prosecuting the case. The case is being handled by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
The HSTF places special emphasis on investigating and prosecuting those engaged in child trafficking or other crimes involving children. The task force also utilizes all available tools to prosecute and remove the most violent criminal aliens from the US.
