A 32-year-old Long Island man, Adam Leone, has been sentenced to 60 months in prison for possession of child pornography involving prepubescent minors. This sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Leone was arrested by the FBI on June 27, 2018, after he distributed child pornography to an undercover FBI Agent. Following his arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at his residence, where they found a computer containing child pornography.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle Rossi handled the case, which was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Gary Loeffert. The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced the sentencing, which was imposed by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford.
