Covington, KY – Bryant Adams, 43, of Cincinnati is headed to federal prison for ten years after pleading guilty to pushing meth in Northern Kentucky. Chief U.S. District Judge David Bunning slapped him with a 120-month sentence Thursday.
Federal agents used a confidential informant to buy nearly 56 grams of meth from Adams back on August 28th. He agreed to another deal a week later, and that’s when the feds moved in, finding another 80 grams on him. Adams confessed he’d been dealing roughly a pound of methamphetamine every week for the six months prior to his bust.
Adams will serve 85% of his sentence, and face five years of supervised release when he gets out. The bust was a joint effort by the DEA and the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force. First Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul McCaffrey confirmed the sentence, saying the investigation is closed.
