Dance Hall Sheik’s Descent into Darkness

In a shocking verdict, a blue ribbon jury of married men delivered a guilty sentence to Earl F. Peacock, 22-year-old radio technician and dance hall sheik. Found guilty of murder in the second degree, Peacock will serve a sentence of 20 years to life in Sing Sing prison at Ossining, New York.
