Ithaca Man Sentenced to Decades for Aborting 10-Year-Old’s Innocence

ERIE, Pa. – A despicable act of pedophilia has left a stain on our nation’s collective conscience, as a 33-year-old Ithaca resident, Noah Oliver Fisch-Lewis, pleaded guilty in federal court to violating federal laws relating to the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Fisch-Lewis, who will soon face the harsh realities of life behind bars, was taken into custody on October 8, 2022, after driving from upstate New York to Erie, Pennsylvania, with the intention of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with a 10-year-old girl. The disturbing encounter was facilitated by an undercover agent posing as the minor’s mother.

According to court documents, Fisch-Lewis repeatedly expressed his desire to engage in graphic and heinous acts with the minor, sparking a thorough investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, Pennsylvania State Police, Erie Police Department, Millcreek Police Department, and Erie County Detectives.

Noah Oliver Fisch-Lewis is scheduled to be sentenced on October 1, 2024, facing a maximum sentence of not less than 10 years and up to life in prison, a fine of up to $500,000, or both. The defendant’s crimes were committed between September 23, 2022, and October 8, 2022.

The case against Fisch-Lewis was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. The program marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children.

Fisch-Lewis’s despicable crimes are a stark reminder of the ever-present threat of child predators lurking in our communities. His guilty plea is a testament to the tireless efforts of law enforcement agencies and the Department of Justice in protecting our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.
