Kealey Twiss Sentenced

Kealey Twiss, a 32-year-old woman from Pine Ridge, South Dakota, has been sentenced to 19 years and two months in federal prison for her leading role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy in Pine Ridge and Rapid City.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Twiss pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance on June 9, 2025, after being indicted by a federal grand jury in February 2024. The investigation revealed that Twiss and others distributed significant amounts of methamphetamine in the area, with Twiss playing a key role in setting prices, organizing distribution, and engaging in interstate trips to obtain the drug for further distribution in South Dakota.

U.S. District Judge Karen E. Schreier sentenced Twiss to 230 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, and ordered her to pay a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
