Norfolk Cocaine Kingpin Gets 7 Years Behind Bars

⏱ 2 min read

A 36-year-old Norfolk man has been sentenced to seven years in the slammer for peddling cocaine and packing heat in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Dyron Eugene Holloway’s reign of terror lasted from January 28 to February 13, 2025.

During that time, Holloway made three cocaine deals in Virginia Beach, including one where he sold a handgun and 27 grams of the white stuff. Investigators found more coke, marijuana, and a digital scale in his ride, while a search of his hotel room turned up even more coke, another firearm, a scope, and a clip with 29 rounds of ammo.

Holloway’s rap sheet includes a 2012 bust for assault on a cop and a 2024 conviction for owning a gun with a Schedule I or II narc. As a convicted felon, he’s not supposed to be messing with firearms or ammo.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke Bresnahan nailed Holloway with a 7-year sentence, courtesy of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative to take down cartels and transnational crime organizations.
